MISSION

Our mission at Neurodiversity Place is to raise awareness, improve accessibility and ensure equity for the neurodivergent community.

What is Neurodiversity?

Neurodiversity is the idea that different types of brains are natural and should be valued and accepted.

As many as 1 in 5 people are neurodivergent.

Many neurodivergent individuals have sensory processing difficulties, which can turn simple events such as doctor visits, grocery shopping, or getting a haircut into agonizing experiences.

Why does this matter?

INCLUSION IS ITS OWN REWARD.

Being educated about common neurodivergent conditions, such as Autism and ADHD, and how they affect the daily life of neurodivergent individuals is the first step in building an inclusive community where everyone feels welcome.
